Process Integration Using SOA: An Implementation Case in a Municipality

There is a new world in which we´re living, with a complete reconfiguration of the concept of enterprise and organization in course, in which whole business chains shall be the basis for any management action, and for which are of crucial importance the new information and process technologies architectures (BPM-business process management and SOA-service oriented architecture). As the central focus of the paper, an interesting case is presented, in which the best solution, for a municipality, was to jump into this new world of possibilities.
