Abstract :
This paper presents a style transfer algorithm of caricature. Rather than transferring texture from one image to another globally, we introduce an interactive tool for local texture transfer of caricature. As the segmentation algorithm is not very satisfactory for complex case of human face and the caricature, we use a brush by which the user draws some strokes on the source and target images to indicate corresponding regions. And a multiple local texture transfer method is presented to transfer the texture from the source region to the destination region through patch-based texture synthesis. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is easy and effective to use in generating different artistic effects of caricature.
