Abstract :
In this paper, a tuning method of fractional order proportional integral differentiation (FOPID) controller for the fractional order system is discussed. The key is to solve the introduction of two additional parameters, unlike three parameters in the traditional integer order proportional integral differentiation (IOPID) controller. The main contents include the design of FOPID controller and simulation for fractional order systems. Following the proposed systematic design schemes, both fractional order proportional integral (FOPI) controller and FOPID controller designed work efficiently. However, the FOPID controller outperforms the FOPI controller. Simulation results are presented to validate the proposed tuning schemes.
