Abstract
A method of enhancing the lower frequency components of the brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) and consequently reducing the number of sweeps required for a suitable signal-to-noise-ratio is presented. The algorithm, methods, and experimental results are discussed. The results suggest that some single-sweep signal components have polarities that are opposite to the ensemble average polarity
