Abstract :
Spearman test and Kendall test are used on three stations (Longchuan, Heyuan, Boluo) of the East River basin to figure out trend of hydrological and meteorological factors. The results show that: in the period 1959-2008, there is no significant rainfall increases or decreases; evaporation shows a significant downward trend; temperature has been in a significant upward trend; Boluo station´s runoff is in an upward trend. The phenomenon is caused by: global warming, human transformation of land surface and water management systems.
