Abstract :
In this paper, a framework is proposed for the analysis of systems of objects which exhibit state-based behaviour and multiple inheritance of that behaviour within class hierarchies. The approach proposed is based on a graphical notation which could form the basis for recursive analysis or synthesis of system specifications. Whilst suitable for communication between analyst and client, the notation should be amenable also both to reasoning and to CASE support
