Abstract :
This paper presents the analysis and design of an interleaved three-phase PFC ac-dc single-stage converter. This converter has a multilevel structure and uses a flying capacitor with phase-shift PWM to improve efficiency of the converter at light load conditions. The converter´s operation, steady-state characteristics and design guidelines are presented in the paper. Results from an experimental prototype validate the feasibility of the converter.
