Abstract :
Current evaluation study on demand side management (DSM) is limited to the cost-benefit analysis, which is not enough for improvement of the integrated decision-making on DSM. This paper puts forward a DEA method to measure the relative efficiencies of DSM implementation in different electricity distribution districts, constructs the input and output factors according to the long-term mechanisms and the goal of DSM, discusses the efficiency analysis, and gives specific directions for the inefficient service centers to improve their operation efficiencies possibly. In addition, DEA models for the DSM power conserving projects are proposed. This work will provide useful information for the DSM implementation.
