Abstract :
For every medical entity, whether it is a large practice or hospital, the patient numbers and treatment profile determine a certain set of imaging technologies and salary costs. These figures will determine sustainable levels of investment and patient care fees. These considerations will determine an optimum mix of imaging devices in type and number to provide sustainable and cost effective support for the hospital diagnostic, medical, drug related and surgical procedures.
