Abstract :
The riverbed eroded and the river level changed during the first experiment for water and sediment regulation in the lower Yellow river, which affected the recharge. By analyzing the structure of the aquifer in Wen County, two-dimensional groundwater model was established, under different water level of the Yellow river, the lateral seepage of groundwater recharge was simulated. The results reveal the groundwater level is declining when the river level is lower, and vice versa. This study can provide a reference for the systematic consideration of the groundwater management, and an approach for more sustainable management of groundwater resources in the areas.
