Abstract
The restorative planning problem can be treated as a combinatorial problem. In our study, the genetic algorithm combined with the branch exchange method is used to solve the problem. The genetic algorithm has the ability to search the global minimum. On the other hand, the branch exchange method is effective for searching the local minimum. It is shown that the combination of two methods is very powerful
