Abstract :
Path loss models are very important for the study of network connectivity, topology, power control, and positioning technology based on the received signal strength indication (RSSI), however, due to geographical environment, electronic circuit design, energy consumption and so on, it is often difficult to obtain a more accurate path loss model. In order to solve problems mentioned above, the thesis analyses transmission power and channel impacting on the path loss model; based on the data measured indoor and outdoor with Zigbee device, we analyse the fitness between path loss models and experimental data using Matlab Model Browser toolbox, and get the best model with Akaike information criterion as a standard.
