Abstract :
The development of an object-oriented, graphical protection architecture provides a universal hardware and software platform for the protection of any power element. The graphical programming language protection engineers with no programming skills to develop any protection and/or control scheme. The Virtual Test Set, which is part of the software development package, is an excellent tool to test the different functional objects or to analyze the performance of existing protection schemes using event records recorded by the relay during power system disturbances and faults
