Abstract
This paper discussed the reasons for the attenuation of the discharge of Hongshan spring through the quantitative and qualitative analyses on the dynamic change of spring discharge. The multivariate statistical regression model of spring discharge responding to four key factors (precipitation recharge, river infiltration recharge, mine discharge and karstic wells exploitation) in two periods was established, and each factor was quantificationally evaluated. The results showed that two reasons lead to the attenuation of spring discharge: the reduction of precipitation and river infiltration recharge, as well as the increase of mine discharge and karstic wells exploitation, which play the main role in the attenuation.
