Abstract
In this paper, a cellular neural network with discrete-feedback (DF CNN) has been introduced. The DF CNN consists of A-template, B-template and C-template. The B-template and C-template of the DF CNN may couple two input images nonlinearly in order to synthesize or deal with the images dynamically for specific requirements. As an application, a set of DF CNN which can combine two images directionally is proposed. Two cartoon image-synthesizing examples are given.
