Abstract :
Electromagnetic compatible (EMC) analysis of electrically large and complex objects has become an indispensable part of computational electromagnetism. As a new technique for solving differential equations, the domain decomposition method (DDM) is playing an important role in the solution of large problems. In this paper, a mixed approach (DDM-FEM) based on the domain decomposition method and the finite element method (FEM) is presented to analyze the electromagnetic compatibility problem of shield gates. We use ABC and transmission boundary condition to the boundary and the dummy boundary respectively. The DDM is well suited for numerical implementation on parallel computers. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity of this approach.
