Abstract :
This paper adopts the genetic algorithm-improved circuit theory (GA-ICT) to satisfy the given desired conditions without a basic structure or restriction of the number of elements in two different frequencies and to generate the optimum antenna for downsizing and reducing the number of elements by a completely deductive method. The GA-ICT results show that the new antenna configuration has an array length of 0.28/spl lambda/, and 14 elements. The antenna artificially generated by GA-ICT using a completely deductive method is a novel dual frequency Yagi Uda antenna and has a mechanism different to previous dual frequency comer reflector antennas designed by inductive methods.
