  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a compact sized Dual-band microstrip patch antenna with microstrip feeding line. The microstrip patch of the antenna is a diamond shaped patch which has T-slot in the patch for the multiband operations. This antenna covers the frequency bands, centered at 7.5079 GHz and 10.94 GHz which is useful for the C-band and X-band operations. In this paper, a microstrip patch antenna with compact size of 22 × 16 × 1 mm3 is diamond shape. This antenna is designed on FR-4 substrate (Dielectric constant = 4.05) of thickness h = 1 mm with the fully ground. The proposed structures were simulated by using the CST microwave simulation software. This proposed antenna is suitable for multiband wireless communication systems and mobile equipment.
