Abstract :
While the biggest change to SPICE in moving from version 2G6 to 3E2 has been the re-coding from FORTRAN into C some of the algorithms have been changed, new models added and a new source introduced. The impact of these changes on simulation reliability is discussed and illustrated with some example circuits using both versions
