Abstract :
The aim of this work is to analyse the RF channel characteristics for the link between the International Space Station (ISS) and the TDRSS (Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System). The ISS is being assembled in orbit around the Earth and will be completed around 2003. In the end ISS will be the largest structure ever build by man in space, stretching over 100 meters and sprawling across an area the size of a modem football stadium.
