Abstract :
In generalized multiprotocol label switching (GMPLS) networks, the routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) problem is important to realize the quality of service (QoS). In this paper, we put forward the blocking probability model with sparse wavelength conversion. As for the wavelength assignment subproblem, we formulate it as a Markov decision process (MDP) in order to realize the multiclass service and the resource allocation dynamically. And the simulation results show that the method not only provides service differentiation but also reduces the overall average blocking probability.
