Abstract :
This paper presents the preliminary design of a VLSI chip to support and efficiently implement the calibration operations of a 3-D camera based on the principle of autosynchronized triangulation. This VLSI chip supports several operations for every incoming data and targets a performance between 1 and 10 millions 3-D points (x, y, z) per second
