Abstract :
Room acoustic simulation is an important part of computer application in acoustical design. By establishing the room model and entering real building acoustic data, this paper provides acoustic predictions in order to eliminate costly mistakes and reduce installation time. When used in acoustical design, the method of computer acoustic simulation is more efficient and convenient than the method of traditional scale model, hi real life, failing projects caused by ignoring the architectural acoustical design meet the eye everywhere. Therefore, the accuracy of acoustic simulation software is critical, that´s what this paper focuses on. We model the small theater in Communication University of China by EASE After analyzing the results of simulation and measurement, the article points out the deficiency of the computer simulation precision while using EASE software and puts forward the optimization scheme. The conclusion in this paper has important guiding significance for acoustic designers and software developers.
