Abstract :
This paper addresses the filtering of noisy chaotic signals. Combining a modelling technique for the signals with the unscented transform (UT), a new filtering algorithm is realized. It is indicated by computer simulation that this algorithm can effectively reduce noise on chaotic signals no matter how the parameters of the chaos generator vary with time. In comparison with the EKF-based method, this algorithm has a better filtering performance in the case of low signal to noise ratio (SNR), and has similar performance in the case of high SNR.
