Abstract :
It is great importance on the agriculture development to study agricultural water-saving potential. The methods for calculating agricultural water-saving potential were summarized in this paper, and based on these a different calculating model has been put forward. Additionally, water-saving potentials of winter wheat, summer corn and cotton have been analyzed in the coming 10 to 20 years at Guanzhong region of Shaanxi Province. The results showed that the total water saving potential would be 0.6852 billion m3 and 1.1023 billion m3 in 2020 and 2030 respectively.
