Abstract :
A new alternative is proposed in this work. It presents a control and monitoring system for a turbine and synchronous generator. A single processor architecture IBM-PC and a data acquisition board with its signal conditioning circuits are used. Two sensors of electric magnitudes based on microcomputers are implemented: load angle for synchronous machine; and electric frequency. The working principles and experimental results are presented
