Abstract
Polymer light emitting device (PLED) based on blue polymeric material, poly(9,9-di-n-HexylFluorenyl-2,7-diyl), PHF was prepared using toluene as solvent in spin coating technique. The device with ITO/PHF/Al structure has a peak emission wavelength at 530 nm. This peak is considered green emission range. This paper reports, the used of tetrahydrofuran and benzene as solvents for fabrication of PLED to improved the peak emission spectrum of the device. It was found that the solvents were influenced the emission wavelength of the devices. The device using benzene solvent showed peak emission at 490 nm which is the blue emission range.
