Abstract :
The work here shows the development of Java applet programmes for visualizing a MOS capacitor. Applets are developed to calculate space-charge density value, threshold voltage, the width of the maximum depletion region and to display the graph applet distribution of space-charge density as a function of surface potential, graph applet threshold voltage versus substrate doping, energy band diagrams of MOS capacitor and a cross-section of MOS capacitor. Educational Java Applets are intended to provide users with an active learning environment by providing opportunity to simulate their subjects of interest.
