Abstract :
A transformation system which incorporates M.A. Jackson´s system development as a modeling methodology and a spreadsheet paradigm as a target language is described. Rules which define an informal transformation scheme from operational specification into spreadsheet software are presented. An application of the transformation system in developing an office automation system for the support of maintenance activities in a nuclear plant is described
