Abstract :
Single and coupled harmonic oscillators have been used to model many physical systems in all fields of science. We show here that an effective way to study their motion is in the time-frequency plane. We numerically integrate a number of cases with various input forces and show that the time-frequency plane displays the oscillations in a clear and easily interpretable manner
