Abstract :
In many power factor correcting applications, the preregulator controller design procedure is a trade-off problem between having a low input current distortion or output voltage fast response. This paper presents a very simple digital control strategy to overcome the mentioned problem. In this new controller the gain of the output voltage feedback loop can be changed considering the load variations. The simulation results show the superiority of the proposed method over the conventional control strategy.
