Abstract :
The tapered high permittivity LSE-NRD guide has been investigated as a radiator. It has interesting properties such as a broad radiation pattern and simple structure. A fan beam antenna at 35 GHz and the planar antenna at 60 GHz have been developed successfully for several kinds of millimeter-wave applications. We are thinking positively of applying the high permittivity LSE-NRD guide in the fields of millimeter wave antennas.
