  • Abstract
    Single feed circularly polarized resonance cavity antenna (RCA) has been studied for high axial ratio bandwidth (AR-BW). Metallic superstrate layer placed over a dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is explored for such design. Optimized AR-BW has been achieved through intensive parametric study. The antenna is capable to deliver high axial ratio as well as matching bandwidth (over 12.6%) with more than 28° of beamwidth.
