  • Abstract
A a new technique for signal reconstruction from wavelet modulus maxima is discussed. Here we assume that the total energy at each level of the wavelet transform is also given along with the wavelet transform modulus maxima. In this algorithm we have solved this problem by posing to find the single optimal width of the window for each level of decomposition. This approach is less complex and can directly be implemented on parallel computing platforms. The results show a slightly higher reconstruction error as compared to previous results
