Abstract :
This paper studies on the current loop of vector control for interior permanent-magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) and describes the hardware and software structures of vector control. A method of prior determination of digital torque current proportion integration (PI) gains which is easily implemented in the microprocessor is presented. In order to facilitate engineering application, the expressions between d-axis current and q-axis current are linearized and an engineering approximate algorithm for maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control is given by piecewise liner interpolation. Experimental results show that the method and the approximate algorithm have excellent performance and engineering utilization.
