Abstract :
With the raw material of natural plant powder F691, we synthetized a natural and efficient cationic flocculant which was called SUSA-a. The study shows that when the mass ratio of woodpoeder and NaOH is 2:1, the mass ratio of woodpoeder and etherifying angent is 1.5:1, the reaction temperature is 40°C, the reaction time is three hours and a half we can synthetize SUSA-a. The flocculant demonstrate excellent flocculation properties in dealing with coal washing waste water, when we change the pH value from 6 to 8, the inputs dosages of flocculant is 10mg/L and the poly-aluminum is 5mg/L, the removal rates of turbidity and CODCr and suspended solids in the coal washing waste water is 96.8%, 69.3% and 97.9%.
