Abstract :
For the prevention and control of chemical pollution made by synthetic pigments and existing antibacterial agents, the antibacterial function natural scutellaria baicalensis georgi pigments were compounded with biodegradable polyester poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) for dying. A biodegradable antimicrobial plastic were prepared. The properties of the dyed films with different pigments proportions, especially its antimicrobial properties, were evaluated. The results showed that: pigments had good compatibility with PBS, and the addition of pigment had almost no effect on the crystallization morphology of PBS, good thermal stability. Pigments and the dyed films both had good antibacterial ability. In the course of use, the pigments could release from PBS slowly to achieve a long-term health effects.
