Abstract :
In order to analyze the thermal characteristics of airships, the classical net heat method is studied and improved. It can be applied to the case when transmission of the housing surface and absorption of the gas in it is considered. By using the improved net heat method, the heat transfer process of the airship is analyzed and the thermal models on skin and inner gas of the airship are established. By comparing the cases that with and without considering the transmission of the skin and absorption of the inner gas, the computing analysis on the thermal model of a concept airship shows that transmission of the skin and absorption of the inner gas have significant influence on the temperature of the airship.
