Abstract :
This paper discusses the coupling coefficients for electric, magnetic and mixed coupling between synchronous Split Ring Resonators (SRR) using HFSS eigen mode solver. Coupling coefficient variation with the spacing between the coupled resonators has been given which can be used to design microwave filters using SRR. The identification of couplings has been done by observing the current densities of the coupled SRR.
