Abstract :
Power Line Carrier (PLC) communication presents an appealing and economical solution for many monitoring systems. SSC (Spread Spectrum Carrier) technology has attractive features of better anti-interference capability and higher reliability, so it is better than other modulation methods in low-voltage PLC applications. Firstly, this paper gives the framework of the HPS street lighting lamp network. Secondly, it describes the structure of the node controller and main controller and discusses some key problems such as carrier frequency, wave trap coil and so on. Thirdly, it describes the implementation of embedded Internet based on MCU. Fourthly, it describes how to solve the security problem of the network from two aspects: one is the conversation between the supervision center and the main controller, the other is the conversation between the main controller and the node controller. Finally, the experimental result is listed which looks promising for deeper research and application.
