Abstract :
In this paper, the static output feedback (SOF) control problem is addressed for continuous-time switched linear systems. Firstly, a output-dependent switching rule is designed via the singular value decomposition (SVD) approach, a sufficient condition under which the considered system is asymptotically stable is derived. Then, the synthesis problem is presented and a SOF controller can be given. All the conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be easily checked by using recently developed algorithms in solving LMIs. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of the obtained results.
