  • Abstract
This paper introduce an approach for the design process of power trains based on two different modeling levels. One is the macroscopic modeling which is used to size the power train in terms of power and energy. Then, the microscopic model is built on a semi automatic mode with the help of a component database and results of the macroscopic model validation by simulation. This approach is based on the development of a dedicated industrial software platform.
