Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss the structure of block sequential Boolean network. Block sequential Boolean networks are a class of Boolean networks under different update schemes, which contain serial Boolean networks and parallel Boolean networks as special cases. First, the structure matrix of block sequential Boolean network is obtained and based on the structure matrix, we give a formula for the number of cycles. The formula we obtained is based on the eigenvector of the structure matrix.
