Abstract :
Recently the authors began the development of a state of charge meter (SCM) for Li/MnO2 systems. They describe the work that was done to find a correlation between residual capacity of the Li/MnO 2 cell and a measurable electrical parameter. The preliminary results that were obtained during the SCM development for Li/MnO2 cells are outlined. Several methods for a residual capacity estimation were applied and showed positive results for 2/3 A Li/MnO2 cells. The maximum accuracy was achieved in the cells that were stored for a long time after usage
