  • Abstract
The Next Generation Weather Radar (NEXRAD) Open Systems Radar Product Generation (ORPG) effort involves the porting of many working, tested, meteorological algorithms and product generators into an “open” and distributed workstation environment. We discuss the techniques used to validate the correctness of the ported software. This method is used to validate the ported software across a variety of platforms. Furthermore, the method is generic, accommodating future modifications of algorithms and product generators
