Abstract :
Harmonic torque control has been used for constant mean torque production and cogging torque cancellation in AC permanent magnet motor drives. Presently, most methods require Fourier series analysis and either iterative or least squares minimization methods. In this paper, a novel approach based on instantaneous power theory is described which eliminates existing drawbacks
