Abstract :
Audio data are involved in many applications. This research proposes a hardware reconfigurable system for audio acquisition, processing, storing and monitoring. This proposed system is capable of collecting and processing multi-channel audio sources without the need of a personnel computer and storing them into a storage device. The design uses system-on-chip technology and hardware-software co-design to integrate all functions needed by this application into a single field programmable gate array. The proposed system has advantages such as saves hardware, space, and power consumption.
