  • Abstract
    The optimization problem of minimizing the energy consumed by electric vehicles during a short trip is addressed and solved using dynamic programming, with two alternative formulations. The algorithm is evaluated using a model validated with data, and simulation results show that the energy consumption can be significantly reduced.
