Abstract :
In this paper plane wave reflection and transmission phenomena in slabs of artificial anisotropic chiral media having simultaneously dielectric and magnetic properties are theoretically considered. The artificial medium is a superlattice of chiral layers and anisotropic magnetic layers. Biaxial symmetry or the medium is defined by the direction of spiral inclusions and the direction normal to the interfaces between layers. Oblique incidence is assumed and exact solution of the boundary-value problem is derived.
