  • Abstract
Ecological counties of mountain areas are often in a dilemma between the undeveloped economy and the pressure of ecological environment from contaminated industry. As a typical ecological county of mountain areas, Shixing County´s industrialization will enter medium stage. Based on the indexes including static time of regional disparity, regional economic quotient, and the contradictory between economic development and valley ecological environment, the results indicate that:1) owing to the economic difference, the industrialization of Shixing County will become more and more powerful by local government driver; 2) the industrialization, incorporated with the urbanization of population, may challenge the river basin ecological environment in the long-term. So, the authors put forward the relevant countermeasures of Shixing´s sustainable development from multi-level regional organization, governmental finance, regional governance, recycle economy and green GDP.
